Ordering Process
All orders are processed immediately during business hours or
should orders be placed outside business hours they are processed
immediately upon our return. Delays are only incurred when not all
stock is available and has to be ordered in. Usually we will
contact the customer to advise on any shortfalls and whether they
would like part deliveries or are able to wait for the complete
order. (We do not charge postage for the balance of any order that
gets shipped out later due to unavailability at the time of the
initial order). We strongly encourage that you provide your email
address when ordering in case we need to contact you regarding your
order.
Delivery within Australia
FREE SHIPPING WITHIN AUSTRALIA FOR A LIMITED TIME ON ALL
NEW ORDERS (Offer excludes orders returned for refund, in this case
items are refunded less postage cost of $8.95)
Orders Under $100
Express Post $8.95 flat rate - via Australia Post, delivery
usually next day depending on your post code. Tracking of parcel is
possible at www.auspost.com.au by entering parcel barcode number.
There is no insurance option with Express post.
Registered Post $10.95 flat rate - via Australia Post, delivery
1-4 working days, these parcels are insured up to $100 in
value.
Orders Over $100
Express Post $10.95 flat rate - via Australia Post, delivery
usually next day depending on your post code. Tracking of parcel is
possible at www.austpost.com.au by entering parcel
barcode number. There is no insurance option with Express Post.
Registered Post $12.95 flat rate - via Australia Post, delivery
1-4 working days, these parcels are fully insured.
Delivery outside Australia
Registered Air Mail - Austalia Post costs depending on weight of
order. All parcels are fully insured and can be tracked using the
parcel barcode at www.auspost.com.au. The postage will be quoted
prior to the order being confirmed and it will depend on the weight
of your order and your destination.
Customs/Duty for overseas orders
Individual countries may impose import duties/taxes on goods
entering the country. This amount varies from country to country
and Moda Intima is unable to estimate what the charges may be.
Usually parcels are randomly chosen by customs hence the
unpredictable nature of whether you will be charged import duties
or additional taxes.
Responsibility
Moda Intima cannot take responsibility for loss or theft of
parcels where shipping method without insurance is chosen. Express
Post parcels can only be compensated up to $50 for loss or theft
according to Australia Post policy and it is to their discretion
whether compensation will be granted. Should a parcel go astray
Moda Intima will provide assistance in locating the missing parcel.
Most likely it will end up being located at the nearest Post
Ordering process and delivery options
Office to the addressee. If this fails Moda Intima will submit a
claim on behalf of the customer with Australia Post and will
forward compensation upon receipt from Australia Post. As all
claims require investigation by Australia Post prior to
compensation being issued the procedure can take up to 6 weeks.
From our experience over the past decade sending out all our
parcels with Australia Post we are happy to admit that very rarely
does a parcel go astray and when it does we have received
compensation within 2 months and have been able to forward it on to
the customer.
