HOW TO FIND THE CORRECT SIZE Bra sizes can vary depending on the manufacturer, style, shape and fabrics used. Here a few tips to check your bra size is correct. When putting on your bra start by lenghtening your shoulder straps put your arms through the straps lean forward so that the bust falls into the cup while fastening the back on the most comfortable hook position. Then when standing straight adjust the shoulder straps to a be firm but not tight. Stand side on infront of a mirror and check that the centre back is level with the centre front. If you have your bra fastened on the tightest hook and the back is sitting higher than the front, the bra underbust size is to big (eg: you will need a 12 instead of a 14). If your bra has lost its elasticity this will also happen. A bra that is older than 6 months old will have lost elasticity. If the bra is too tight on the loosest hook you will need a larger underbust fitting (eg: you will need a 14 instead of a 12). The cup should fit snugly around the bust with no spillage at the side or top of cup. If this is the case you may need a larger cup fitting (eg: a C instead of a B). The wire should sit on the rib cage underneath and behind the bust at the side. If ther is an indent at the side of the bust you may need a larger cup fitting. If the cup is puckering it is too big (eg: a B instead of a C). Ideally you should fasten your bra on the loosest or middle hook. HOW TO MEASURE YOURSELF Measuring can give you a guide to what size to buy. You will get the best fitting if you remove clothing and wear a non padded bra. Stand infront of a mirror and use a measuring tape with inches. TO FIND YOUR UNDER BUST MEASUREMENT Place the tape directly under your bra measure the rib cage pulling firmly ensuring the back is level with the front. Write down the inches if your measurement is an even number add 4 if it is and odd number add 5. Eg: If the measurement is 32" add 4 which makes you a 36 or a 14. If the measurement is 33" add 5 making you a 38 or 16.
